Worth Noting
The 3D specification for Blu-Ray has finally been completed (you can see details here). The good news: the PS3 will be compatible with the new 3D content. The bad news: you'll need a new television.In the short term, at least, the real impact is very low, although I guarantee this will be marketed incredibly heavily. I just don't know how many people will buy new screens just to support this standard--I mean, I'm a complete nut about this tech, but I'm not buying a new television.
However, the day that 3D is available without wearing special glasses, look out.
